The Environmental Kuznets Curve - What is it?

A graphical illustration of the notion that, with economic development, environmental conditions deteriorate at first, but then improve. The Environmental Kuznets Curve is hypothesized to be true because economic development changes people's priorities from existence to amenities. As people increase their wealth they begin to care for the environmental conditions in which they live and they also have the technological developments to deal with the problems.

Today we met in the library in order to discuss our research and what aspects of the Kuznets curve we want to focus on in our video. We are going to continue researching and meet with an advisor soon in order to discuss what direction we want to go with our video. We are going to go to the Innovation Space sometime this week in order to begin learning how to use the editing and video software for when we begin putting our video together
